Sometimes you have to go where you are not supposed to, to find what you want to!

Sunday 8^th May

As you have worked out by now, there is a lot of walking on offer on the Amalfi Coast. I won’t bore you with a blow by blow description of the one I did today to the “Colline del Principe”…I’ll just show you the photos.

Behind this Castello of the Prince (now a reception centre) is the walk up to the top of the hill

past reception and around the corner...but the sign says no access, private property! oh well...

I've found a path and I've climbed up, but not sure if it will lead to the top of the hill

I've left the Castle behind

and I'm up with the hawks again

I can't believe how high I've climbed

have the place to myself

a marker to tell me the way...shame I haven't seen one until I have arrived!
